As one of the nation’s top science centers, the Oregon Museum of Science and Industry (or OMSI as us Portlanders know it) attracts over 850,000 visitors per year. OMSI is a popular attraction for out-of-state tourists, but relies on local attendance for its core revenue. To keep the locals coming back, OMSI partnered with R/West to create seasonal campaigns to support their ever-changing exhibits and programs.

Using the tagline “Opening Minds,” the seasonal campaigns were designed to drive people to both the museum and its website. By sparking people’s curiosity about the new exhibits, the ads resulted in an increase in both attendance and membership rates.
